Swallows, Amazons, Shock n Awe & Camille O’Sullivan…
This week kicks off nicely on Monday night with The Waterboys at St David’s Hall. The Alternative 80s rockers are back on tour performing all of their most famous songs including their biggest hit The Whole of the Moon.
Our ‘Pic of the Week’ is the mesmerising Camille O’Sullivan. Camille O'Sullivan enjoys a formidable international reputation for her dramatic interpretations of the songs of Brel, Cave, Waits, Bowie and more. Chameleon-like on stage, each song has a different character with its story to tell. The award-winning singer has stunned audiences around the world with 5-star sell-out performances, including Sydney Opera House, London’s Royal Festival Hall and show-stealing appearance on Later with Jools Holland (BBC TV). See her in Cardiff for one night only at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama’s Dora Stoutzker Hall on Saturday 19th of May.
Elsewhere in town there’s plenty of live music at Buffalo, Gwdihw and Clwb Ifor Bach for your enjoyment and Cardiff’s Shock n Awe Theatre Company continue to perform their latest offering Love at First Light at Chapter until Saturday…
